The response which Ncrhunt received has been really heartening.The search queries were not just limited to Connaught place or Noida.People were really looking for things in sector 21 noida or Rohini sector 9.Moreover searches were not just confined to restaurants or pubs but included things like bycycle repair shop,Nokia customer care,Subhiksha etc.The real value of local search engine comes out with queries like these.
There might be certain queries for which people might not get desired results.But we have web query log analysis by which we look into queries entered by the user and try to upgrade current results.Hence the search engine will continue to evolves over a period of time.The users are advised to enter the same queries after few days and they might get better results.
The section of free advertising has really not been upto our expectations.Being a free service we still haven't been able to attract enough advertisements.I want to just re-iterate that we advertise anything blogs,products,websites etc and give then 24*7 hour coverage on our front page.
Not to forget we received lots of mails regarding suggestion.Ncrhunt team has taken each and every suggestion in depth and will try to implement those suggestion.

Rolling out service for Delhi/Ncr
After lot of thought and toil we have finally rolled out local search service with map support for Delhi/Ncr region.Ncrhunt provides platform where people can search for a local service in any location in delhi/ncr.The user can search for chinese restaurant in Sector 18 Noida to NIITs in Rajouri Garden.The search results are shown with map support.Care has been taken that map results are as accurate as possible.
There are 43 categories of local search service which have been rolled out.The number of categories are expected to increase in future.We also provide the facility for free advertising.Moreove people can add business listings so that they are available in our search results.I hope that users will be satisfied with the search results of Ncrhunt engine.We look for cooperation with the people so as to increase the width of our search.After all web2.0 is of people,by people and for people.
